If you haven't noticed already, chunky gold hoops are everywhere this season. Think medium sized thick hoops instead of large thin gold hoops for an updated and more current feel. They add a funky, edgy vibe to an otherwise plain outfit. The key is to not over accessorize and let them be the stand out piece. I'm feeling the effortless-ness of gold hoops and a simple t-shirt and jeans outfit. Along with beach-y waves or hair loosely pulled back, gold hoops adds a fun flair and makes your look instantly instagram ready.

At the end of the day I don't think it matters if you spend $5 or $500 on these, you just can't go wrong with the style! I personally love ones that are gold plated (as my ears are very sensitive) and if you take care of them they tend not to tarnish AS easily. I have had mine for about 3 months and they are still holding up well. However if budget allows, hoops made with better materials will last even longer. Based on how often I am wearing mine, I am ready to invest in a pair that will last me a few more seasons.
